The Blues Fest weekend means great live blues all over town! You'll see live blues bands Thursday, Friday, and Saturday! The best part? Blues Fest main stage bands somehow seem to find their way into local bars to jam.
"Blues after hours" has been host to some of the most memorable moments in the Blues Fest history. Like in 1996, when a 9 year old girl named Shannon Curfman jammed on stage with Jeff Healey (at the now closed 1st Ave Bar), after meeting him back stage at the Blues Fest. That was one of her first ever live appearance! Or how about last year when about 300 of us crammed into the Great Northern to watch Lonnie Brooks, Coco Montoya, and Kelly Richey put on one of the coolest jams we've ever seen!
